TBCC - CAS 170 - Currently Meets; BA 211 - Currently Meets

Clatsop Community College is doing well with the changes to CS 131 and BA 211 we lost our PT Faculty due to changes but FT Faculty picked it up.

BA211 is being offered as updated.

Clackamas CC--Excel with the proposed course equivalencies is complete and we have been doing this for Fall 2021.

RCC: Both BA131 and BA211 outlines were updated July 2021.

Clatsop CC is offering both as updated.

COCC is on track to meet the BA 211 standard.

UCC has CIS125S and will be creating BA131 by Fall 2022. BA211 and BA213 will be ready for Fall 2021.

BA-211 has been updated and we taught this updated course in Fall of 2021. It is has, however, proven to be very hard for students as there is so much that has been thrown into the course.

PSU Update: We have created a new 2 credit Excel class (BA 216) aligned with the desired learning outcomes. We voted to eliminate BA 205 from our requirements and are replacing it with the 2 credit Excel BA 216 class. For BA 211, we have modified our transfer equivalency tables to accept BA 211 as a direct equivalent to our BA 211 without BA 212 for the schools that used to have a BA 211 & 212 as equivalents to BA 211.

CGCC Update: BA 211 was converted to 4 credits effective Fall 21. Will have to check on CAS 170.

UO is in line with the agreed upon objectives

CGCC - I totally agree with Beverly Forney at Clackamas: this has been VERY difficult for students to absorb all of the content - many are struggling.
